How a Playdate Comes Together
From the first spark of an idea to watching the kids play — here is what goes into every Play & Gather playdate.
Dream It Up
Each month starts with choosing a theme. I draw inspiration from the season, holidays, and what the kids are loving right now.
Plan the Details
I plan 2-3 activities, a sensory table, themed snacks, and the coffee bar. Every detail is intentional.
Prep & Source
Sourcing materials, prepping crafts, and testing sensory bins. A lot of magic happens at Dollar Tree and in my kitchen!
Set the Scene
Playdate morning! I arrive early to transform the space — setting up stations, arranging snacks, and brewing coffee.
Play Time!
The best part — watching the kids explore, create, and have fun while moms connect and gather.
